Application has been made for the New Shares to be admitted to trading on Eurolist of Euronext Brussels and Euronext Amsterdam and on the AiM market of the London Stock Exchange, and trading is expected to commence on these markets on 10 January 2006.
The total number of outstanding ordinary shares in Galapagos NV after this issue now amounts to 12,948,781. The New Shares rank pari passu in all respects with the existing ordinary shares in the Company.
