On 26 March 2007, application was made for 5, 483,913 shares in Galapagos NV (the “Company”) to be admitted to trading on the AIM market of the London Stock Exchange pursuant to a placement for cash and consideration for acquisitions made in December 2006. These shares rank pari passu with the Company’s existing shares and dealings are expected to commence on AIM on 30 March 2007.
