Belgian Transparency Law
The Belgian Transparency Law (Title II of the law of 2 May 2007 and the Royal Decree of 14 February 2008) took effect on 1 September 2008. Investors in Galapagos who reach or pass a threshold of 5% share ownership will need to file a transparency declaration with the Belgian Financial Services Market Authority (FSMA).
